Warning - dodgy hairdo ahead.

This was taken at my year 11 ball, in 1995. I had a date but I didn't like the professional picture of us together so I didn't buy it.

The dress was knee length and flouncy. My hair was a bit of a wreck - I didn't plan my hairdo and left it to the hairdresser on the day. She underestimated the time it would take to blowdry and curl my thick, straight hair and it ended up frizzing.

If only I could go back in time and tell the teenage me that tweezers were not the enemy I thought they were.
